Description Panosian and Partners is a small, young architectural design firm that has made its mark across the whole of Armenia with a number of projects ranging from graphic and web design and residential refurbishments to restaurants and telecom service centers. Founded by American University of Beirut Architecture School graduate Hagop Panosian, the company maintains a small group of core members, forming local and international partnerships according to the needs of successive projects. The company's second partner is AUB Architecture School graduate Assem Tannir. This structure gives Panosian and Partners broad scope, versatility and speed. Since 2003, the company has been responsible for a broad range of projects, the most important of which are listed below. Key projects P&P's first commission was Square One Restaurant at the intersection of Abovyan Street and Northern Avenue, one of the most popular eateries in Yerevan for more than three years. In the spring of 2006, P&P designed a second branch for Square One at Yerevan's Zvartnots International Airport. Since early 2005, Panosian and Partners has provided ongoing design services for Vivacell, a newcomer telecom company that has become Armenia's leading telecom operator with over 1 million subscribers within two years after its launch in July 2005. Panosian and Partners has provided interior design services for Vivacell's corporate offices and 66 service centers nationwide. P&P’s partnership with Vivacell is set to continue into 2008. P&P recently also completed interior design for two apartments in the center of Yerevan, and plans to provide contracting services in Spring 2008. P&P’s other projects include: a competition entry for a children’s camp in Dilijan, and site, neighborhood and house layouts for a gated community on the Ashtarag highway. P&P's latest project is Armenia Property News (www.armeniapropertynews.com), a new website launched in October 2007 designed to provide comprehensive information on Armenia's real estate and construction market. Future Plans P&P plans to continue its partnership with Vivacell through to 2008 and beyond. In parallel, the company plans to focus its energies in three directions: 1.Initiating its own residential projects and particularly gated communities, 2.Developing concept designs for private residential projects, and 3.Making Armenia Property News the central online reference for local and Diaspora Armenians worldwide. |
